kids r the most wonderful being on earth:
1. they bring u into their innocent world and let u view things from a different way
2. so easy to express their tots and feelings

when u grow older, u tend to have more complicated tots and feelings and in the midst of it.. u get more confuse and unhappy.

when u grow older, u find it harder to express yr heartfelt thoughts.

when was the last time i sent a card, wrote a letter or made a simple gift for a fren or a loved one? i cant remember.

these days, such are all replaced by sms-es and msn conversatons.

i remember i used to save my pocket money to buy ear-rings for my sister on her bday when i was still in pri sch. when i was in sec sch, i made cards for her which she still kept. now, gifts are expensive off the shelf items that are deemed "practical" and useful.

i remember when letter writing and hand made cards filled my days in pri sch to sec sch and even to jc. gifts were much simpler and meaningful back then. these days, u make time to meet up frenz on their bdays and gifts were simply items that they need.

i remember lovely notebooks were kept as diaries to pen down happy n unhappy times and try to keep them hidden in 'safe' places to keep them from the prying eyes of yr family. these days, u use the blog as yr diary cuz u spend most of the time on the computer.

has life changed its way of functioning or do ppl simply juz outgrow certain way of doing things?

bowling tournament

haha... sound like some pro competition right.. its not la... its juz another company event.

Formed a team of 4 with grace, edward and felix. But edward got really sick and was on sick leave and so addie took his place.

We were really lousy but it was so much fun. it didnt mattered that we came last in the competition cuz we laughed so much i think we were the only team enjoying the game this much.

found out something at the end of the 3 games.. didnt realise that there were arrows on the lane for u to 'aim' yr ball at. haha.. so silly rite. right after the BIG ENLIGHTENMENT(courtesy of MASTER Lim), i tried again and almost strike! hahaha.. no one could believe that. neither did i. was scolding felix for not enlightening me earlier! grace said its ok cuz we're juz training for next yr's competition.. haha..
we stayed for another hour after the competition ended. so shiok to have the entire place to ourselves to bowl. felt like we booked the entire place.

cant wait for next's year competition!

sis went to a fortune teller today.

she didnt hear very nice things and ended up buying stuff that the teller said wld help advert the disaster. i really help it helps but i told it wld act more as a way to reassure and ease the mind.

Han told me i cant change my fate. if i try to avoid n change my decisions, my whole life will change.

who will no. 1 be? and will i wait for no. 2 to appear?

the answer will unveil in 5 yrs time. Year of 2012. we shall wait and see.

The aliens have not only invaded but now they have taken over the planet here.

Dont know whats going to happen in the next 2years. Things were good as it is. How to face having a new boss whom you dont like and absolutely convinced that he doesnt know anything about the local market. Worst still, he can say he know nuts about legal terms which is just such a basic requirement of even executives. He is here to learn and is put in-charge of the project! How unfair can life be juz because he is an alien?!

The project could turn out well.. but left in the hands of these inexperienced aliens who only know how to talk their way out of situations.. i guess the project is not going to turn out well after all.. what a waste of such a good location. dont hire locals if u cant trust them for goodness sake...

sigh sigh sigh... just what a relief that weekend is here. a piece of bad news to end the week.. having to face the unknown next week, i wish time can come back to a standstill...

mum went temple yesterday. as usual, asked about my marriage. (i feel myself in those old drama serial where the mother worry daughter cant get married so always go temple and seek for divine answers.. hahha). anyway fortunately the teller says my fate will come later and it will be good.. maybe thats y Han says take the 2nd one. so what does it mean? like knowing the next one i meet wont work out again. so strange, like the 10pm hkg show i watching now. can forsee future.

hiya i also no believe so much la. how they all know right. anyway i believe its all fated.. but time will tell. maybe one day when i read back then i will realise all the predictions are true... mebe.. juz mebe...

learning hokkien wei

wa eh tao kay ai wa ker ou hokkien wei.. so tough! but no choice. the invasion of more and more aliens into our territory. simi also know how to speak. only hokkien tougher. today got 1 more new alien. his species belong to semi-alien but luckily find out he duno chinese. so still save. i guess msn now is our only saviour at work... silent communication is safer rite. no need to go think who understand what language.. so tiring... haiz...

but hokkien so diff. last time still got grandma to practice with. uncle tan nowadays also don speak teochew to me already. how how how? don tell me i need to practice in the shower? :S

in a spree-ing mood last few days... wallet is slimmer by $200 and GSS has only started for a week! anyway the discounts werent really fantastic to start with but well i guess its juz the season of shopping (like christmas!)..
